Our February Basketball Player of the Month is Caden Mager, son of Aaron and Heather Mager. Caden is a senior at ADM High School. But he’s been playing basketball ever since he was in the second grade.

Caden said that his favorite part about the game is the competition and the team aspect. Caden also has a lot of family around him on the team, his dad Aaron Mager is the boys basketball head coach and his grandpa Wayne Mager also helps out the team a lot in practices. Caden thinks he was nominated mean to him and he said, “It means a lot because all of the off season work payed off.”  Caden thinks that he was honored as basketball player of the month because he has been a good senior leader. He is one of the six seniors on the team and he has definitely made an impact in the four years he’s been on the team.

In honor of Caden’s accomplishments, Fareway is donating $100 to the ADM scholarship fund.
