Katarina Meadowcraft is one of February’s Kiwanis Students of the Month. She is the daughter of Judy and Bart Meadowcraft and has a 3.7 GPA.

Meadowcraft is very musically involved. She is in ADM Singers because she loves to sing, Band because it is part of her future and AP music theory because “It’s a lot of fun learning about the nitty-gritty details.” She is also involved in Jazz Choir which gets her out of her comfort zone and Dance team which has taught her how to be organized and follow a schedule.

She plans to hopefully attend Wartburg to study music education and is planning on becoming a Band Director.

Meadowcraft’s advice to others to be successful is “Don’t procrastinate! If you have something to do get it done.” She also wants others to get involved and get out there.

She feels honored to be chosen as the Kiwanis Student of the Month and thinks it’s a cool experience.

In recognition of Meadowcrafts achievements, Kiwanis of Adel is donating $50 to the ADM Scholarship Fund.
