It’s crazy how much you can learn in just one year.  Journalism has opened my eyes so much to the news around us.  I have learned that one photo can tell such a big story to others who see it.  Every small moment deserves to be remembered and that’s what the work of journalism does.

A piece of advice I would give to anyone is to take Journalism class:  Not only will you learn so much about capturing photos, telling stories, finding out the news in the world, but you will have so much fun!  You will experience new opportunities to work with new and different people as well as exploring around doing fun activities.

Overall, just enjoy every second of every day and don’t waste any of it.  Remember who you are and stay true to yourself.  Don’t be afraid to try new things because it could be the best decision you’ve ever made in your life.
