How To: Valentine’s Day Brownie Kabobs
Whether you are looking for a recipe to share with your best friend, family member, classmates, or significant other, this Valentine’s Day recipe will always do the trick!
Not many things on this planet are easier than making kabobs so gather the following materials and get started!
Ingredients:
- 1 box of brownie mix
- 1 package of large strawberries
- 1 bag of marshmallows
- Wooden skewers
- Baker’s melting chocolate (optional)
Out of preference and laziness, I chose not to utilize the Baker’s chocolate for the strawberries. If that is your cup of tea, melt the chocolate according to the box’s instructions and dip your strawberries into them followed by allowing them to cool.
Step 2 consists of grabbing a mini muffin tins and spraying some non-stick spray into the pan. Preheat your oven to 350ยบ, now work on your brownie batter!
Follow the brownie box’s instructions on how to create the batter. Yours may be different than mine if you chose a different brand or kind of brownie. Follow whatever YOUR box instructs you to do! This kabob is not exclusive to the plain, traditional brownie flavor… if you are a caramel and brownie person, go for it. If you prefer brownies with nuts, I encourage it. Make this your own.
Once I was done with mixing the eggs, batter, oil and water, I took a regular spoon from the silverware drawer and poured the completed batter into each little mini muffin hole in the tin. Warning: it’s a nearly impossible task to make this messy job look pretty.
Place the tin in the oven for however long your brownie mix box told you to do. Mine instructed me to leave the treats in the oven for 30-35 minutes according to the pan size I was using.
While you are awaiting your brownie’s arrival, start washing your strawberries and cut off both the ends- stem/leaves and tip of the strawberries.
Remove the brownies out of the oven when they are finishing baking and allow them to cool off for a few minutes.
Utilize the wooden skewers and place the marshmallows, strawberries, and fresh brownie bites onto it in any sequence you want.
Enjoy your semi healthy kabob with your loved ones and perhaps your enemies!
