December’s Wrestling Cheer Athlete of the Month is Avery Miller. Miller is the daughter of Charity and Rich Miller and a Senior this year at ADM. She has been participating in wrestling cheer for 2 years and normal cheer for 3 years.

Miller loves the environment that wrestling cheer provides and how there are fewer girls on the squad so she is able to form deeper relationships and bonds with her teammates. She also appreciates that wrestling is a fun sport to watch and she can do different cheers than other sports. The free food is also a benefit she claims. Miller says that being Wrestling Cheer Athlete of the Month is “an honor to be honored with this honorable title. ” She thinks that she was given this honor because she has been working hard during the season and when the girls don’t have practices she is working to improve the bonds with the underclassmen on her squad and assist them in learning their cheers.

In honor of her achievements, Fareway has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Foundation.
