Carly Kuhse, daughter of Chad and Jodie Kuhse, is the Student of the Month for January. Kuhse is sporting an impressive GPA of 4.0, and enjoys band, medical interventions, and AP chem. She enjoys those classes because they are “fun and challenging,” and they align with her interests.
Kuhse volunteers at AHeinz57, Adel Kiwanis, Meals from the Heartland, and Dallas County Extension. She plans to attend either Mizzou or ISU for a degree in Animal Science.
Being a Student of the Month means a lot to Kuhse because it shows that the “administration recognizes her achievements.” She also mentioned that she enjoys the parking spot. Kuhse believes she has been honored as a Student of the Month because she is involved both inside and outside of the classroom.

In honor of her achievements, Racoon Valley Bank has donated $100 to the ADM Scholarship Fund.
