This weekend, the ADM boy’s basketball faced a devastating defeat to the Winterset Huskies, 68-66.

This game was a major upset that surprised many, as the Tigers beat Winterset earlier in the year, and Winterset was a major underdog in Friday’s game.

Even though this was a big upset for ADM, the score is not what caught most people’s attention. At the end of the game, when the final buzzer rang, the Winterset student section preceded to storm the court.

This action caused an uproar on Twitter, for it is not very often that you see people storming the court over a high school game. Students of ADM took to Twitter after the occurrence, saying how classless this act was and how “We would storm the court too if wins were that rare.”

Winterset students went on to say that they beat a very good team this year, and storming the court should not be viewed as classless. This is the last time we will play Winterset this year, but we know in years to come ADM will go into this game with a chip on their shoulder, and Winterset will try to build on the momentum built from this game.
